A term, often ill-used, to describe the indigenous population. Better to use ‘Aborigine’ or Aboriginal person’.
Kookaburra
They are heard laughing but this sound is to warn other birds away from their territory. The aboriginals believe the kookaburras sole purpose in life is to uplift your spirits with their laughter.
